900 years of history to be examined and explored!
Beginning with the Augustinian Priory founded in 1115 to its closure in 1536 which was followed by the construction of a Tudor Manor House in 1545. Two hundred years later this manor house was replaced by a huge Hall complete with walled gardens; Oh and the Bridgewater canal passing through the estate. So much to unravel and discover (entry charges apply).
